Dear Simon
I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for the support you have given during the planning and delivery of my fathers funeral. You were with us when we did not know where to start, and your gentle but persistent guidance enabled us to give my father the send off he deserved. Everyone walked out of the church smiling , which is exactly what we wanted.  You were very patient and accommodating to our specific requests which changed on a daily basis as we developed our plans and nothing was too much trouble.  It was so reassuring to have you there throughout the process, and finally on the day itself. Many people have come to me with such positive comments about the way the funeral was conducted and I cannot thank you enough.
